Mike specializes in comprehensive financial planning, portfolio management, stock option planning, and economic research for The Tarbox Group, Inc. He serves as the firm's SEC compliance officer.
Hired by Electronic Data Systems (EDS) out of college, Mike spent 11 years in various financial and business roles. After completing the Accounting and Financial Development program in 1989 and the Systems Engineering Development program in 1991, Mike relocated to Southern California. Prior to joining The Tarbox Group, Inc. in 1998, Mike held positions as a senior financial analyst and divisional finance manager.
Mike has been quoted in numerous magazine and news articles, and was a frequent quest on Bob McCormick’s KNX 1070 Business Hour.
Mike received a B.A. degree from the University of Florida, with a major in Finance. He was awarded his Certified Financial Planner Certification in 2001 and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
